A promise made by moonlight

I want to be happy, but that means sometimes I have to squint my eyes or close my ears to the world. I am going to post about things that make me happy, and maybe they will make you happy too.

I think i left a piece of my heart in your dresser

I spent an hour on www.samsung.com on Friday night and so now can use my brother's digital camera (the manual was dropped in a swimming pool....???!)

The first photo I took was suppose to have been deleted, it was a between shots awkward mistake. But then, as my fingers hovered over the DELETE button, I couldn't do it, I look so happy, that I kind of like the idea of there being a piece of me that will be permanently be laughing in sunshine. So here it is:

I have almost 60 other photos all with the correct lighting and flash, but I think that maybe having this one, so imperfect that it was almost lost forever, is perfectly alright by itself. And proof that I CAN keep laughing and that I too, will be perfectly alright by myself.

I'm going down in flames for you

I dislike very very much those hormonally inbalanced ''perfect'' Disney Channel kids, however as a giant Harry Potter geek i do rather like the modest and talented Hogwarts Crew. They all of a sudden seem to have transformed from cute bushy haired 11 year olds to grown sophisticated it kids, with just a flick of a wand!

DUN DUN DUN!

What ever type of Polyjuice Potion Emma Watson has brewed up, I want some!

I have the dorky school girl thing covered, so maybe there is hope for me, will I ever be a beautiful tiara wearing mysterious belle???

Neither am i fan of the whole Twilight thing ( i just don't get it!!! Don't hate me please!), but I came across a certain ex-Hogwarts student looking adorably geeky and awkward (my favourite type of guy!) in glasses and a pink jumper. I may not get blushes and daydreams for Robert Pattinson as a vampire, but just this one screen shot is enough to melt me!

When He looks down on us i wonder what He sees?

Hurrah! Hurrah! Vive la tea parties!

As long as they have pretty serviettes and paper doilies, tea parties can come in all different forms:
  • My humble 16th birthday party:

  • The slightly grander and more beautiful Versailles of Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette:

  • And then spontaneous teacups-and-cakes-thrown-into-your-bicycle-basket kind of shindigs:
Have you had a summer tea party yet? Or a Mountain-Dew-and-sherbet-lemons kind of party?

Go on, have one!
